HAMEL LEATHER CARE GUIDE
HAMEL LEATHER CARE
Keep your leather away from humidity. If stored in a closet, choose natural fibre bags such as cotton, linen and jute rather than synthetic materials, since leather needs to “breathe”. Once in a while, it needs to be taken out of the closet.
Never soak the cloth or brush; they need to be slightly damp. If too wet, it may stain the leather.
Keep away from direct heat and sunlight to avoid the leather from drying out and to minimise fading. Leather may change in colour and shape over time.

HL DAKOTA CARE
HL DKAOTA leather range can be left alone. If need be, use a neutral shoe-polish to rehydrate the leather.

HL OLE CARE
HL OLE is an oily leather that needs rehydrating at least once every 2 years. Use a cloth and a few drops of oil to brush the grain of the leather. This can be done more often if the leather feels particularly dry.

HL SKA CARE
HL SKA should be left alone as it has been treated with wax. Brushing or oiling the leather will damage it.
